Email Marketing Strategy

NOTE: ALL AFFILIATE LINKS ARE LOCATED ON YOUR AFFILIATE PORTAL PAGE FOUND UNDER THE “CURRENT STACKS” TAB ON THE MENU BAR OF THE AFFILIATE DASHBOARD.

YOUR AFFILIATE PORTAL PAGE WILL ALSO SHOW THE EXACT PROMOTION DATES FOR THAT PARTICULAR SUPER STACK.

As mentioned on the Overall Marketing Strategy page. For best results, we recommend simply directing your subscribers to opt into our Segmentation Funnel and let us do most of the heavy lifting. Our segmentation funnel includes a short, fun quiz that directs them into buckets based on their answers.

From there, we are able to speak directly to the pain points they identify as most important to them.

After they opt into the funnel we send them a series (three to five) emails over the subsequent week to ten days.

Some funnels include emails with links to helpful, content-filled videos relevant to the niche.

Others simply consist of fun, informative emails, again, relevant to the niche related pain point they have identified as most important to them.

Keeping in mind that we will be sending the subscriber multiple emails throughout launch week…

It’s your job to get them into the funnel in the beginning and then do a little follow up as we go along, then make sure they understand the urgency created at the end.

NOTE: (Click on the “Current Bundles” tab on the main Affiliate Dashboard page and go to the relevant Super Stack Affiliate Portal page. There, you’ll find the “2-week launch calendar” that will show you the exact promotion dates of your specific Super Stack)

Here’s an example of the timing your campaign should utilize (For exact timing on a specific Super Stack see the 2-week launch calendar mentioned above):

ENGAGEMENT:

Day 1 – email 1 – linking to the coming soon page

Day 3 – email 2 – linking to the coming soon page

Day 6 – email 3 – linking to the coming soon page

(NOTE: If you only want to send 1 or 2 of these based on how often you usually contact your list, that’s fine)

OPEN CART:

Day 1 – email 1 – linking to the segmentation funnel.

Day 2 – resend email 1 to un-opens

Day 3 – resend email 1 to un-opens

Day 4 – resend email 1 to un-opens

Day 7 – email 2 – “F.A.Q.” linking directly to sales page.

Day 9 – email 3 – “Last chance” linking directly to the checkout page.

Here’s an example of a 2-week launch as seen on a calendar:

ENGAGEMENT:

NOTE: Use the “Engagement” link for the engagement campaign. It links to a “Coming soon” page.

EMAIL #1, #2 & #3

The first type of email you should write is for your engagement campaign. This campaign should consist of one to three emails and run during the week to ten days just prior to the “open cart” day at the beginning of “Launch Week”.

Your engagement campaign is designed to familiarize your tribe with the Super Stack concept and build anticipation for the launch.

These engagement emails should be chatty and informal and not include too much specific information. Just let them know that you have run across some great information that you think they are really going to like and that they should stay tuned for the big announcement.

OPEN CART:

NOTE: Use the “Segmentation Funnel” link in your Open Cart day email. It links to the quiz that allows us to segment them into their pain point buckets.

EMAIL #1

On the designated “open cart” day we will open the Super Stack for sale for around seven to ten days depending on the Stack. (See above for how to find the promo dates for your specific Super Stack)

For best results, we recommend sending one email on Open Cart day using the segmentation funnel link and then resending that email on the subsequent three to four days to the “Un-Opens”.

This is very important! Don’t just send the one email and assume everyone saw it and either opted in or wasn’t interested. You’ll get probably close to 50 percent of your total opt-ins over the three or four days of sending to the un-opens.

For best results use a different subject line for the email every time you resend it.

You can find a list of suggested subject lines by clicking the “EMAIL TEMPLATES” banner on your specific Super Stack Affiliate Portal page.

If you’re not sure about how to re-send an e-mail to the un-opens during a broadcast email campaign. Please check with your email service provider. Each one is a little different, but they all have a way of easily identifying the subscribers who have not opened the email you sent them and resending that email to those subscribers.

It’s very important to keep in mind as you write this email that by the end of launch week, your subscribers need to be fully aware that the Super Stack is closing and although it will probably come back at some point, we don’t know exactly when, and if and when it does come back, it will most likely include different books and courses. So, if they want this one, they need to act NOW!

If you are a contributor, it’s a good idea to really take ownership of the project as you write your launch week emails. In other words, use possessive language like “Me”, “Mine”, “Ours” Etc.  Talk about “our” project. You can use phrases like “Here’s the new project I’ve been collaborating on with a bunch of different authors.” The trust transference with an email like this can be off the charts. Trust transference, of course, is what we’re ultimately after.

As a regular affiliate, there are several different ways to approach your tribe.

You can talk about how you have been working with us and you love what we do, and you think they will love it also.

Again, tell a story about how you used one of the products, how it helped you or what you learned from it and why you think your people will get value from it. Do this in as honest and authentic a way as possible.

Another way to approach it is by writing an honest review of a few of the books or courses in the Stack that you think your tribe would be most interested in. Try and keep this to just a few that are the most relevant. You don’t want to confuse or overwhelm your audience. Don’t be afraid to be honest, if there are bits and pieces you don’t agree with or dislike go ahead and mention those. Of course, if you can’t be mostly positive and tell your tribe why you think that overall the information is awesome, perhaps you shouldn’t be promoting the Stack.

If you combine the review of the materials with a brief mention of the value of the Super Stack, it can go a long way towards getting your subscribers to bite.  You could mention how, if purchased separately, the information would cost you $679.00 (Or whatever the correct number is for the Stack in question) and how, with the bonuses (Every Stack will include bonuses of some kind) plus the money back guarantee, the purchase at a mere $47.95 (or whatever the correct number is for your Stack) is a complete no-brainer.

Another approach could be the “Just imagine” email. Get the subscriber to feel in their gut the emotions that would surface once they put the information in question into practice and achieve the desired result. Paint a picture of what the future will look like with possession of this info. Conversely, you can also paint a picture of what the future would look like if they DON’T purchase the Stack right now.

One approach might be a detailed list of what’s included. This email appeals to the right-brained, analytical types in your audience. Be careful, however, not to make too large of a list or just drone on about product specifics.

Even the analytical types respond to what the information will do for them and how it will make them feel. (Whether they know it or not) So don’t forget to bring the conversation back to what the information they are purchasing will do for them. These analytical types also respond very well to the value vs price justification that we mentioned above.

EMAIL #2

This email should be sent on the day or two prior to “cart close” day and be an FAQ type email.

What you’re trying to do is solve any objections they might have. They are still at least mildly interested because we’re six days into this thing and they are still opening your emails. So, they probably want to buy, we just need to remove that last little nagging doubt in the back of their mind.

This email is all about risk reversal. You need to answer things like “what if I don’t like it and want my money back?” and “How do I download the books?” and “What credit cards do you take?” Etc.

CLOSE CART:

EMAIL #3

On close cart day, you’ll send one last short email stating that they only have a few hours remaining in the sale and that if they don’t act now they’ll be left out in the cold.

Quick note. You’ll get the majority of your sales on this day.

If you’ve been checking your stats all week and getting increasingly worried that you’re not selling very much, hang in there. We are a society of procrastinators. It’s just human nature. Suddenly, those who have been watching the launch and reading our funnel emails and or watching our videos all week realize they’re going to miss out on something and run and grab their credit card.

You should keep this email short and sweet. Just, “Hey, heads up! it’s ending, don’t miss out!”

There will be a countdown timer on the sales page. Our funnel emails will have been casually mentioning all week that the sale “closes on X date so make sure you don’t miss it.” With a good strong call to action at the end.

Now, on the last day, you can get a little more urgent with the message. Again, short and to the point.

Well, that’s most of it. Please be sure to contact us at support@infostack.io with any questions or problems.
